This line is solely about Black awareness, Black celebration, and Black pride. It is about being above the noise, aware of all the things that are going on that are against us, and yet still focusing on all of the great things Black people are doing and creating. Included in this print line are pieces that I would have normally done. However, Above The Veil offers for people who can't immediately afford an original piece of mine but would love to have a work of fine art in their house. In addition to my own work, the idea is to find rising Black talent and nurturing and supporting them as well. Part of our mission with Above the Veil is to do what we can to support and love Black people and creations.
